Just so you know: A First Look is not for everyone. If you are wanting to wait to see each other for the first time at your ceremony we are totally cool with that!! We will never try to pressure you one way or the other; we just want to give you the option.

HOW IT WORKS: Bride and groom get ready separately. Once you're all ready we send the groom to a spot with great light to wait on the bride. Bride walks in and ba-da-bing ba-da-boom, the groom gets googely-eyed (is that a word??) and can't stop staring at his gorgeous bride. We're out of the way shooting every smile and tear from a distance. You'll love looking back on the images from this special moment!

Having a first look on your wedding day not only provides you with the opportunity to see your future spouse in a private setting before the ceremony (and get any pre-ceremony jitters out), but it also allows plenty of time for beautiful, naturally lit photos.

Unless you are planning a large chunk of time in between your ceremony and reception, we usually have a lot more time for creative photos when we do a first look. PLUS you can head straight to your reception right after the ceremony!

We've been to enough weddings to know that a wedding day can feel rushed when you try to cram a ton of pictures into a short amount of time. Taking all of the pictures before the ceremony will allow you to feel relaxed and be able to enjoy cocktail hour with your guests!
